Jayant Ingale was a dear friend and inspiring individual whose smile and cheerful nature touched several lives including mine, We joined our dear MIT together and shared several enjoyable moments working, preparing files for submission, studying for exams, relaxing or just chilling out together.
Unfortunately this beacon of  radiant friendship is no longer with us. The entire MIT Family is saddened by the untimely death of Jayant Ingale. His life was taken  in a tragic helicopter crash in the call of duty. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jayant's family. But the spark of cheer that he created in my life must live on. As a tribute to our friendship, to create a spark of cheer in the life of the winner of this prize and to propogate the spark of the quest of knowledge. I dedicate.....
